Support the development and use of advanced database tools to streamline the organisation, evaluation and presentation of environmental data. Support the integration of advanced database tools with computational and geographic information system (GIS) technologies to provide high-quality, consistent, timely and cost-effective risk assessment and analysis. Development and implementation of data management standard operating procedures (SOPs) and electronic data deliverable (EDD) specification. Development of software such as web applications, Data portals, data dashboards and desktop software.
Required Qualifications A Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology Management, Data Management, and Data Analytics. Previous work experience in Environmental Data Management and/or Environmental Software development with strong analytical/ database skills. Programing experience in C#, Java, C++, Python. Experience with EarthSosft’s EQuIS Enterprise and Professional. Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel and SQL server. Experience with all aspects of software development lifecycle including design, development, testing and documentation.
Excellent organisational, writing and Communication skills.
