The role spans CCTV surveillance, access control, alarm systems, and perimeter security across various Hotel Business Units and extends to the setup, maintenance, and support of Audio Visual equipment across all conference rooms, boardrooms, and meeting facilities. The role will ensure that all physical security technology and AV infrastructure are operational, properly maintained, and aligned with the Group’s overall security and operational strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 2.1 Electronic Security Systems Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade CCTV surveillance systems across all the Hotel Business Units including remote and distributed site locations. Manage and administer electronic access control systems, card readers, and biometric devices across the Group. Maintain and test intruder alarm, perimeter security, and panic button systems at all hotel units. Ensure all electronic security systems are operational 24/7 and performance-monitored, with rapid fault resolution.
2.2 Audio Visual Systems Management Install, configure, operate, and maintain distributed AV equipment across conference rooms, boardrooms, and meeting facilities, including projectors, display screens, video conferencing systems, IPTV , digital signage, PA systems, and interactive presentation tools. Provide hands-on AV support for conferences, events, board meetings, and room-based video conferencing sessions, ensuring seamless setup, operation, and breakdown.
Ensure all AV equipment across boardrooms, conference facilities, and meeting rooms is maintained in optimal working condition through scheduled preventive maintenance and prompt fault resolution. Advise on AV technology upgrades and procurement, including specification of new equipment and emerging technologies. 2.3 Integration & Technical Support Integrate CCTV, access control, and alarm systems with broader IT and security platforms across the business units, ensuring end-to-end visibility and centralised monitoring where applicable.
Provide first-line technical support to property and operational teams for electronic security and AV issues. Develop and maintain technical documentation for all installed systems. Respond to electronic security incidents and conduct post-incident technical reviews. 2.4 Compliance & Standards Ensure all electronic security installations comply with applicable regulations, Group security standards, and any site-specific operational requirements. Conduct periodic audits of physical security systems , assessing coverage, functionality, and compliance with Group standards.
Collaborate with the Information Security Assurance Lead on security risk assessments. Maintain records of system maintenance, incidents, and inspections. 2.5 Vendor & Asset Management Manage relationships with electronic security and AV vendors and contractors. Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and service contracts. Maintain a comprehensive asset register of all electronic security and AV equipment updated in real time as installations, replacements, or decommissions occur.
